CIAO+ xp

Borelli’s CIAO+ xp provides a complete bottle rinsing, filling and closing system, automated for ease of use and efficiency. With a processing capacity up to 1,800 bottles per hour the CIAO+ xp is ideal for the small to medium sized producer. With the optional extra of a two-corker multi-system, the CIAO+ xp offers quality and flexibility alongside outstanding value.

The CIAO+ xp uses a TECNA xp rinsing machine, providing variable rinsing capacities: with water only, sterilisation fluid and water, or air. Filling options are available in 6, 8, or 10 filling valve setups, offering flexibility in rate of bottles per hour filled. The CIAO+ xp also offers variations in closing options, with natural cork, aluminium screw cap or crown cork variations available. An optional extra of a multi corker setup is available, providing further flexibility with closing options. The CIAO+ xp fills a range of bottle sizes and is very fast and easy to adjust for use with different sized bottles.

Manufactured to the highest standards, all parts that come into contact with the product are made entirely from stainless steel, maximising sterility and product quality along with machine durability. Full stainless steel frame and panelling add to the cleanliness and low maintenance needs of the machine.

Highly flexible, able to fill a range of bottle types with a range of non-carbonated liquids, the CIAO+ xp can be integrated with other machinery such as a labeling machine or bottle collection tray. Durable, efficient and reliable, the CIAO+ xp provides a class leading automated filling and closing unit that is fully adaptable to the producer’s individual needs.

Step-by-step function of the CIAO+ xp:

1 - Inlet: Bottles are loaded manually onto the conveyor belt; the bottles are taken directly into the machine and onto the filler carrousel.

2 - Filling & levelling: Each bottle is lifted into position by EVO pneumatic cylinders (with air recirculation), the filling valve fills the bottle with the product until the set fill level is reached – ensuring accurate fill levels for every bottle and no need for external levelling equipment.

3 - Corking: Filled bottles are returned to the conveyor belt and taken onto the corking machine where they are closed with either natural or plastic straight corks.

4 - Discharge: Filled and corked bottles are discharged from the machine onto one of the two alternatives available with this machine. Bottles can be discharged onto an accumulation and collection board, or onto an integrated labelling machine. Both options are available as standard and are dependant entirely on the producers needs.
