A fermenter is designed specifically for the fermentation of beer. Wort (heated grains, malts, and hops) is poured or siphoned into the tank after cooling to begin fermentation. Sediment collects in the 60° conical-shaped bottom and can be easily discharged.
The CBEFT range of fermenters has a holding capacity of up to 6000 litres, is constructed from durable materials with a polished or electropolished finish, and is fully equipped with CIP spray ball, butterfly valve, sampling tap, and safety valve. Fermenters feature a large, dimpled cooling jacket for temperature optimisation, as well as pressure-rated temperature control. Cooling capacity, insulation and pressure can be tailored according to specific requirements.
Other sizes are available on request.
