Delta E/F

The Bucher Delta E/F range of destemmers have an indicative flow rate of up to 100,000 kg per hour. Grapes are received into the loading hopper via a bin tipper or conveyor and are then gently conveyed according to a pre-set destemming speed. The in-feed auger moves the grape clusters through the hopper to separate any debris, whilst the paddles destem the clusters. Stems are discharged through the ejection chute and the grapes drop through the drum.

In the destemming zone, the holes of the electropolished stainless steel cage have been designed with deep and round edges and the shaft is equipped with paddles, whose extremity is enlarged and rubberized (E2 and E4), or in stainless steel (E6 and E8). The cage and the beater rotate in the same direction enabling the stress on the grapes to be better distributed, avoiding the grape shearing effect. The length of the destemming area is adjustable according to the grape variety and grape maturity.

Available with crusher, draining hopper and PEHD cage on request.

Main Features
  • Three interchangeable models of cage are available, according to grape variety.
  • The holes of the electropolished stainless steel cage have been designed with deep and round edges (5 mm for E2 and E4, 6.5 mm for E6 and E8).
  • The shaft is equipped with paddles whose extremity is enlarged and rubberized (E2 and E4) or in stainless steel (E6 and E8).
  • The length of the destemming area is adjustable according to the grape variety.
  • The rotating speed of the separating unit (beater + cage) is adjustable and can be controlled through an electronic variator (E2 and E4).
  • The destemmer can be set on a support or wheels.
  • The electropolished cage and rotative water guns located on the upper part of the cage, makes washing easier.
  • Side covers allow access to the cage, to the beater and to the evacuation hopper making the checking of the washing quality easier.
  • Optional crusher, draining hopper and PEHD cage, on request.
