Fruit Washer

JP

The Sraml JP range of fruit washers provide producers with a simple and efficient solution for washing up to 6000kg of apples per hour. Fruit is received via a bin tipper and transported through the washer to the outlet, where fruits move down the chute on to an optional sorting conveyor.

The washer consists of a rotating perforated drum, central brush, and paddles to push the fruit through the drum. The washer will remove grass, leaves, and other foreign objects from the surface of the fruit, whilst keeping the fruit intact. The JP range is designed for use in-line with a bin tipper, dosing hopper and sorting conveyor, but can also be used as an independent fruit washer.

The fruit washer is suitable for all cylindrical fruit types, such as apples, pears and citrus fruits. Upon special request the fruit washer can also handle fruits of non-standard size and shape such as rhubarb or carrots.

Other sizes are available on request.
