Multima L/K Counter-Pressure Bottling Machines

Leibinger Multima Bottling Machines

The counterpressure technology of Leibinger's Multima product line makes it ideal for filling carbonated products like beer, cider and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Through the use of integrated vacuum technology, bottles can be filled with very minimal oxygen uptake.

The Multima is available as a long-tube (Multima L) or short-tube (Multima K) filler. For operations involving various bottle formats, a short-tube filler is the optimal choice. It can be effortlessly adjusted to accommodate frequently changing bottle formats through automatic or manual height adjustments. Conversely, a long-tube filler is preferable for handling only a limited number of bottle types.

Main Features

Bottle Stop
The bottle stop prevents additional bottles from entering the filler after the filling process has been halted. This ensures that no open, filled bottles remain in the filler carousel, allowing the system to run empty.

Carousel Spraying
Carousel spraying is used for the quick removal of sticky product residues or broken fragments. This cleaning process takes place without significantly interrupting production.

Filling Valves (Short and Long Valves)
Our cylinder valves, in both long-tube and short-tube designs, are purely mechanical. This design extends their lifespan and allows machine operators to perform maintenance and repairs without the need for a service technician.

High Pressure Injection (HPI)
High-pressure injection (HPI) introduces a fine jet of water into the product, causing it to foam and displace oxygen. This minimizes oxygen exposure, preserving the product’s freshness and extending its shelf life.

Capper
Our curved crown corker is available with 2, 4, or 6 capping stations. As it operates entirely mechanically, maintenance can be performed directly by the machine operator without specialised assistance.

Bottle Shower
The bottle shower rinses bottles after the filling and capping process, removing any residual impurities from the bottles and their lids.

Frame Design
The Leibinger base frame is designed with minimal horizontal surfaces, allowing water and product residues to drain away easily. This follows the principles of Hygienic Design, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
