Louis Pommery engaged Core Equipment to deliver a fully integrated winery process system in time for the 2025 harvest. That season proved remarkable across the UK, with vineyards experiencing an unusually early start and fruit of exceptional quality, driven by prolonged warm, dry conditions and excellent ripening. Winemakers nationwide described the vintage as rare and exciting, with fruit showing strong balance and character.
Having successfully partnered on previous installations, Louis Pommery relied on Core Equipment to manage all aspects of delivery and implementation under significant time pressure.

Harvest began earlier than many UK producers had ever experienced, compressing the timeline for equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning. Tight schedules, multiple suppliers, and critical equipment dependencies, especially for tanks, chillers, and fermentation systems, meant there was little room for delays.

Core Equipment acted quickly to keep the project on track:

Despite compressed timelines and supply challenges, all equipment was successfully delivered, installed, and commissioned. The winery was fully operational in time for harvest, with integrated systems for fermentation, chilling, steam generation, and pipework. Core Equipment’s proactive approach to logistics and supplier coordination ensured the client could focus on producing high-quality sparkling wine.

“Having successfully worked together on previous projects, we were keen to continue our relationship with Core Equipment. Given the context of the UK’s earliest harvest, we were against the clock to get the winery installed in time. Jeaffreson and the wider team were accommodating in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arose with delivery delays, logistics, and installations, and were keen to solicit feedback upon project completion. Overall, we were happy with the services and equipment provided.”
Will Perkins, Louis Pommery
