The Kreuzmayr KEP range of destoning machines are ideal for removing stones from stone-fruits such as peaches, apricots, plums, and cherries. It can process up to 1500kg of fruit per hour, depending on the size and quality of the produce.

The whole fruits are fed into the destoner by a sorting conveyor. An internal stainless-steel screw presses the fruit against an outer sieve. The combined pressure and rotational force, presses the fruit through the sieve walls, whilst separating the stones from the fruit mash and into an ejection funnel.
